Villa Liberación shooting leaves woman dead and son injured

A 75-year-old woman was killed and her 38-year-old son was wounded during a violent confrontation between neighbors in the Los Cristianos alleys of the Villa Liberación sector.

Preliminary reports suggest the shooting was triggered by long-standing disputes between the parties involved. An individual identified as Jeury Cuello Martínez, also known as ‘Boca de Chuleta’, allegedly opened fire on the woman and her son.

Agents from the Central Directorate of Investigation (DICRIM) and personnel from the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) attended the scene to collect evidence and perform legal procedures. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident to determine responsibilities, though the current health status of the son and the arrest status of the suspect have not been confirmed.
