Villajoyosa launches major urban garden and park maintenance contract

In Villajoyosa, the City Council has launched a tender for a comprehensive contract to manage parks, gardens, and fountains. The project has a base budget of 1,870,584.19 euros per year and will span eleven years without the possibility of extension.

According to Councilor Ana Alcázar, the service includes the maintenance of gardens, cleaning of landscaped areas, care for street trees, ornamental fountains, and playgrounds. The new terms include the creation of a permanent team of 28 technicians and operators, regular safety inspections for children's play areas, and annual funds for tree planting and infrastructure repairs.
