VIMAR 2026: Wine and Sea Fair opens in Huelva

The fifth edition of the VIMAR Wine and Sea Fair has opened at the Espacio Santa Fe in Huelva, Spain. The event brings together more than 55 exhibitors, including 28 companies from Andalusia, to promote the strategic fishing and viticulture sectors which collectively generate over 100 million euros annually for the province.

A significant development for this edition is its international expansion, marking a milestone in cross-border cooperation with the participation of the Lisbon Region from Portugal. This includes representation from five Portuguese municipalities: Mafra, Loures, Oeiras, Vila Franca de Xira, and Sesimbra, strengthening the event's role as an Iberian platform for Southern Europe.

In addition to commercial promotion and technical dissemination, the fair features gastronomic demonstrations and business meetings. Local authorities, including the Port Authority of Huelva, highlighted the economic dynamism of these industries, noting the significant volumes of wine and seafood moved through the region's port annually.
