VinFast debuts electric motorcycle amid broader electric vehicle push

VinFast introduced a new electric motorcycle that combines modern design, advanced digital features and quieter, more efficient riding. The model is marketed as a solution for urban mobility, offering reduced emissions and a cleaner environmental impact while appealing to younger and practical users.

In Indonesia, PT Medela Potentia’s subsidiary PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) launched its first fleet of electric cars as part of a wider decarbonisation programme for logistics. The move builds on AAM’s earlier deployment of 106 electric motorcycles across 13 cities. The company aims to improve operational efficiency, cut greenhouse‑gas emissions and meet a target of a 20 % reduction in emission intensity by 2025, supported by eco‑driving training and route optimisation.

Both initiatives reflect a growing corporate focus on electric vehicles to meet sustainability goals and respond to increasing consumer and regulatory demand for low‑carbon transport solutions.
