VinFast launches VF MPV 7 in Philippines and outlines aggressive global EV growth plan
VinFast introduced the VF MPV 7, a 7‑seat electric MPV, in the Philippines. The model is priced at PHP 1,518,000 with a battery‑included option and PHP 1,239,000 under a subscription scheme that charges PHP 2,700–4,150 per month based on mileage. It offers a 150 kW motor, 60.13 kWh battery and up to 450 km range (NEDC), fast charging from 10% to 70% in about 30 minutes, free charging at V‑Green stations through March 2029, and a 7‑year/160,000 km vehicle warranty plus a 10‑year/200,000 km battery warranty.
The launch coincides with VinFast’s broader global expansion strategy. In 2025 the company delivered 196,919 electric vehicles worldwide, exceeding its target, and aims for at least 300,000 EV deliveries in 2026 along with a 2.5‑fold increase in e‑scooter sales. VinFast now holds 36% of Vietnam’s EV market, up from 22% the prior year, and is expanding its dealer network across Asia, Europe and North America. In the United States it promotes a low‑cost leasing model and offers models such as the VF 8 Eco starting at $39,900, supported by 0% APR financing and other incentives.
