VinFast leads Vietnam's D-segment SUV sales in September 2026

In the Vietnamese automotive market, VinFast has demonstrated strong performance across several segments. In the D-segment SUV category for September 2026, the VinFast VF 8 led the segment with 1,494 units sold, followed by the Ford Everest in second place.

Looking at the first nine months of the year, VinFast's VF 3 mini electric vehicle has been a significant driver of volume, contributing to a total of 42,272 VinFast vehicles sold in the country. Other notable performers in the market include the Toyota Yaris Cross, which sold over 12,646 units, and the Mitsubishi Xforce, which recorded 9,456 sales.

Other key models driving brand volumes include the Ford Territory with 9,019 units, the Kia Seltos with 7,109 units, and the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid, which remains the top seller for Suzuki in Vietnam with 1,321 units sold through September.
