VinFast Limo Green Leads Vietnam MPV Sales with Record 2026 Figures

Vietnamese ride‑share drivers are praising VinFast’s Limo Green electric MPV for its spacious interior, strong torque and very low operating cost. One driver noted that the third‑row seat is "optimised for comfort and provides ample legroom," while another estimated that switching to the Limo Green saves him hundreds of millions of đồng per year thanks to free charging until 2029 and minimal maintenance expenses.

Sales data from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association show the Limo Green sold 24,059 units in the first five months of 2026, making it the best‑selling 7‑seat MPV in the country. This overtook the long‑time gasoline‑MPV leader Mitsubishi Xpander, which moved 6,740 units in the same period. The rapid growth of the Limo Green reflects a broader shift toward electric vehicles in Vietnam’s MPV segment, which has seen annual sales rise from about 22,000 units in 2021 to over 56,000 projected for 2025.
