VinFast nears 100,000 EV sales and launches 2,000‑vehicle green transport partnership in Vietnam

VinFast reported sales of 97,961 electric vehicles in the first five months of 2026 in Vietnam, with May deliveries totaling 19,503 units, a 21 % decline from the previous month. The Limo Green model remained the best‑seller, with 5,108 units delivered in May and 24,059 units sold year‑to‑date, keeping it at the top of the market. Other models contributed strongly: MPV 7 (1,711 units), VF 3 (20,231 units YTD), VF 5 (16,803 units YTD) and several additional models reaching notable cumulative totals, bringing total EV sales close to the 100,000‑vehicle milestone.

Huy Long Corp and GSM signed a strategic agreement to acquire 2,000 VinFast electric vehicles—including Limo Green, VF 5 Plus, Minio Green, Herio Green and EC Van—to operate a green‑transport service in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and central provinces. GSM will supply the technology platform and operational support. The initiative expands Green SM, the Pham Nhat Vuong‑backed mobility firm founded in 2023, now valued at over VND 43 trillion and preparing for an IPO.
