VinFast posts near‑$1 billion Q1 revenue and adds 66 new electric‑motorbike dealerships in Vietnam

VinFast announced first‑quarter revenue of about 23,100 billion Vietnamese dong (roughly US$1 billion), a 42% increase year‑on‑year. The rise stemmed from a 61% jump in electric‑car deliveries to 58,577 units and a 219% surge in electric‑motorbike and e‑bike shipments, which reached 143,136 units. The company now leads the domestic EV market, with a growing presence in India, Indonesia, the Philippines and other Southeast Asian markets, and operates 447 global showrooms.

On 10 June, VinFast opened 66 new electric‑motorbike retail outlets across 22 provinces, raising the total number of official points in Vietnam to nearly 750. The expansion includes premium “EV‑Zone” showrooms designed for high‑end electric two‑wheelers, aiming to broaden consumer access to electric mobility and support the country’s transition to greener transport.
