VinFast rolls out affordable Amio and Viper electric scooters with subsidies in Vietnam

VinFast introduced two low‑cost electric scooters for the Vietnamese market. The Amio, aimed at schoolchildren, is priced at 13.9 million VND before incentives. Under the “Mạnh liệt vì tương lai Xanh” program and a summer discount, buyers receive up to 16 % off, bringing the on‑road price to about 11.5 million VND. It features a compact 1.715 m length, LFP battery, a top speed of 30 km/h and safety‑focused design for short urban trips.

The Viper, targeted at commuters and delivery riders, is listed at 39.9 million VND and, after similar subsidies plus a trade‑in bonus, costs roughly 34.7 million VND. It offers a 1.8 kW motor, maximum 70 km/h, a TFT display, smart key and fast‑swap battery stations that replace the pack in under a minute for a monthly fee of 175,000 VND. Both models benefit from widespread battery‑swap stations across Hanoi and other cities, highlighting VinFast’s push to expand electric two‑wheel mobility in Vietnam.
