VinFast expands electric two-wheeler presence in India and Philippines
Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast is aggressively expanding its electric two-wheeler footprint. In India, the company has signed Letters of Intent with over 50 dealer partners to establish showrooms across 34 cities in 15 states and union territories. This expansion aims to target major markets including Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, with plans to introduce three electric scooter models: the Evo, Feliz, and Viper.
In the Philippines, VinFast has opened a new e-motorcycle dealership at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. Operated by New Nemar Development, the 125.3-square-meter showroom features the Viper, Feliz II, and Evo models, offering customers the ability to view and test ride the vehicles.
On a broader scale, VinFast plans to invest over $1 billion in fixed assets in 2026, primarily for factory expansions in India and Indonesia. The company has set global delivery targets of 300,000 electric cars and 1 million electric motorcycles. In its home market of Vietnam, VinFast reported delivering 23,624 electric vehicles in September 2026, marking a 17% increase from the previous month.
