VinFast teases new vehicle launch, likely VF Wild pickup

VinFast has teased a new vehicle launch scheduled for September 2026 in Vietnam. While the company has not officially named the model, teaser images featuring a V-shaped light strip and a rugged, elongated body have led to widespread speculation that the new release is the commercial version of the VF Wild electric pickup truck.

Some industry reports suggest the VF Wild may feature an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrain rather than being purely electric. If the rumors regarding dealership information are accurate, the vehicle could begin accepting deposits as early as September 15, with public displays expected later this month.

VinFast continues to lead the Vietnamese automotive market, reporting sales of 20,161 vehicles in August 2026, bringing its year-to-date total to 154,073 units. The VF 3 remains the company’s top-selling model, with 6,453 units delivered in August.
