VinFast VF3 deployed as police patrol vehicle in Philippines

VinFast VF3 mini electric car has been added to the fleet of the Cavite provincial police in the Philippines. Two vehicles supplied by VinFast’s local partners Marikina and Xentro were handed over to the Noveleta municipality, marking the first time the Vietnamese‑made EV is used as a patrol car in the country.

Officials expect the VF3’s compact size (3.190 m × 1.679 m) and 215 km range per charge to lower fuel and maintenance costs and improve maneuverability in dense urban streets. The batteries can be charged from 10 % to 70 % in about 36 minutes using DC fast chargers.

This follows earlier deployments of the VF3 with the Indonesian traffic police for drone‑patrol operations and its growing sales in Vietnam, where the model has been VinFast’s best‑selling vehicle, with 4,770 units delivered in May 2026 and over 20,000 in the first five months of the year.
