Vingroup model praised for integrating green transport and urban development

Indonesian economist Josua Pardede has highlighted Vingroup’s approach to sustainable development as a pioneering model for Southeast Asia. In an article for the Indonesian publication Suara Merdeka, Pardede noted that the integration of VinFast’s electric vehicles with Vinhomes’ urban planning creates a synchronized ecosystem that promotes large-scale green transformation.

According to Pardede, the challenge for green transition in the region lies in making eco-friendly solutions accessible and practical for the general population. He emphasized that economic benefits and environmental protection can complement each other when investments yield long-term sustainable value.

A key example of this strategy is the Vinhomes Green Paradise project in Ho Chi Minh City. Spanning 2,870 hectares near a mangrove biosphere reserve, the development aims to implement ESG++ standards by connecting electrified transportation with sustainable urban living spaces.
