Vinpearl secures $255 million investment from SeaTown and Oman Investment Authority
Vietnam’s Vinpearl Joint Stock Company completed a USD 255 million strategic investment from SeaTown Private Credit Fund III and the Oman Investment Authority (via Vietnam Oman Investment). The funds were issued as convertible dividend preference shares, with Jefferies serving as exclusive financial adviser.
SeaTown said the deal reflects “Vietnam’s tourism and hospitality sector continues to demonstrate long‑term growth potential, driven by rising domestic demand and growing international arrivals.” A VOI representative added that the investment “bridges Oman, the wider GCC and Vietnam” and views Vinpearl as a “flagship example” of the sector’s expansion. Vinpearl’s management said the partnership will provide additional resources for its long‑term development plans and further support Vietnam’s tourism industry.
