Vintage vehicle parade opens harvest festival in Gostyń district

A parade of vintage vehicles, motorcycles, and agricultural machinery opened the “Dobre Smaki Powiatu” harvest festival at the sanctuary on Święta Góra. The procession traveled through Grabonog, Gostyń, Piaski, and Drzęczewo.

Among the dozens of unique vehicles was a 1962 Schmotzer Rekord Kombi, a German utility vehicle brought from Krobia by Przemysław Przybylski and his son. The machine is a specialized low-speed vehicle designed for vegetable farming, capable of serving as a potato planter or grain sower. The vehicle still retains the identification plate of its original German owner.

Other notable participants included a legendary Polish Syrena car, which was highlighted for its ability to bring smiles to onlookers.
