Violence reported in Silao and Acapulco
Two separate violent incidents have been reported in Mexico. In Silao, Guanajuato, 34-year-old Marisol Caudillo Ramírez was killed during an armed attack in the Los Ángeles neighborhood. The victim was purchasing dinner with her family when unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire. A 36-year-old man was also injured in the attack. Local authorities have opened an investigation to identify the perpetrators.
In Acapulco, Guerrero, a 37-year-old woman, Jaqueline Alejandra N, was detained following the death of a four-year-old boy named Tadeo. The child was found with severe injuries, including blunt force trauma and a neck wound allegedly caused by a sharp object. Family members attempted to lynch the woman before police and military forces intervened. The case is currently under investigation by the Guerrero State Attorney General's Office.
