Violent assaults reported in Argentina and South Korea

In Argentina, members of the Investigation Brigade from the Seventh Section Police Station were attacked while conducting an investigation in the El Porvenir neighborhood. Three individuals armed with machetes, sticks, iron bars, and masonry fragments assaulted the officers, causing injuries to two policemen. One officer sustained a knee injury, while the other suffered a shoulder injury. The attackers also damaged two motorcycles used by the investigators before fleeing. The injured officers were treated at Hospital Distrital Nº 8.

In South Korea, a stabbing attack at a shopping center in Incheon left at least eight people injured. The suspect, a man approximately 60 years old, reportedly used knives attached to both hands to attack bystanders, including individuals aged between 20 and 50. One victim was reported to be in cardiac arrest. Shoppers managed to subdue the suspect before police took him into custody. Authorities have established an emergency medical center at the site as investigations into the motive continue.
