Virgin Voyages launches 2028 Scandinavia‑Baltic season with Arctic Circle crossing

Virgin Voyages will debut its first Scandinavia and Baltic cruise season in summer 2028, home‑porting the Valiant Lady in Amsterdam for the first time. The programme consists of six itineraries – four new Northern‑European voyages and two one‑way repositioning sailings between Barcelona and Amsterdam.

The highlight is an Arctic Circle crossing from 14 to 25 August 2028, sailing to 71° north under the midnight sun and featuring a deck‑party and onboard ceremony. Each voyage will call at at least one port new to the line, including Norwegian fjord ports such as Bergen, Tromsø and Honningsvåg, and Baltic cities like Stockholm and Copenhagen.

Virgin Voyages is re‑introducing its Summer Season Pass, which grants a Central Sea Terrace cabin for two, a $15 per‑person daily drink credit, complimentary shore excursions (including an Arctic Circle Discovery excursion), upgraded Wi‑Fi, laundry service, a daily Thermal Suite spa pass, priority boarding and a private champagne breakfast with a reserved viewing area for the Arctic Circle ceremony. Bookings open on 14 August 2028.
