Vishay Intertechnology introduces new high-frequency and high-current components
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has introduced several new electronic components designed for high-frequency, high-current, and high-stress environments.
The company launched the Vishay Sfernice CHEP series of thin film chip resistors in 0402 and 0603 case sizes. Built on an aluminum nitride substrate, these resistors offer enhanced power handling, delivering up to 2.8 W when mounted according to specific guidelines. These components are designed for high-frequency performance up to 40 GHz and are intended for use in 5G and 6G networks, LEO satellites, telecom infrastructure, and aerospace defense systems such as drones and phased array radar.
Additionally, Vishay introduced two new common mode chokes, the Vishay Dale ICMS2321-10 and the automotive-grade ICMS2321-1A. These components are engineered to withstand temperatures up to 150 degrees Celsius and are designed for high-current applications up to 30 amps. The automotive-grade version is qualified to the AEC-Q200 standard, making it suitable for onboard vehicle chargers, motor controls, and high-voltage inverters in the automotive and energy sectors.
