Visit Qatar launches 2026-2027 calendar with 560+ events

Visit Qatar has launched the Qatar Calendar for 2026-2027, a unified national platform featuring more than 560 events, festivals, and championships. The calendar includes a diverse range of activities spanning sports, entertainment, culture, and family experiences, involving approximately 780 partners from both the public and private sectors.

Saad bin Ali Al-Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Visit Qatar, stated that the calendar serves as an integrated system to connect Qatar with the world, acting as a centralized hub for all major cultural and sporting events. The initiative aims to strengthen Qatar's position as a leading global and regional tourism destination.

To promote the calendar, Visit Qatar is utilizing extensive marketing tools, including the distribution of 35,000 printed copies monthly and digital versions across 120 countries via Qatari embassies. The program specifically targets the growing demand from the GCC region, which accounts for a significant portion of the country's total visitors.
