Viterbo restores emblems from Porta della Verità

In Viterbo, the emblems from the Porta della Verità have been temporarily moved to the Museo Civico for restoration. The decision follows an incident on July 26, when one emblem fell, leading authorities to remove the second emblem to assess its condition.

Mayor Chiara Frontini stated that the restoration was previously funded in the December budget but was not initially prioritized for this specific site. The emblems will be returned to their original positions once the work is complete. The administration is also conducting general monitoring of other historical sites, including Porta Romana, Porta Fiorentina, and Piazza del Comune.
