Vitigudino to host high‑profile bullfight on Aug 16 featuring El Cid and Damín Castaño

The town of Vitigudino in western Spain is preparing a mixed bullfight for 16 August. Matadors Manuel Jesús "El Cid" and Damín Castaño will face off with bulls from the Orive, Villares de Yeltes and Domé farms, while young rejoneador Sebastián Fernández will ride two El Canario bulls. Mayor Javier Muñiz praised the rapid organization and invited residents to the night-time cattle‑herding event on 14 August.

Separately, the annual fiestas of Estella featured a corrida de Buenavista captured in a photo gallery, highlighted by the "puerta grande" of Cristiano Torres. The images showcase the traditional bullfighting spectacle that draws local crowds each year.
