RSC Anderlecht faces internal tension amid sporting struggles

RSC Anderlecht is experiencing significant internal tension following poor results, including a recent 4-0 defeat to Gent and elimination from the Belgian Cup. While major shareholder Marc Coucke has dismissed claims of a crisis, stating the club possesses a "very good structure," other figures are more critical.

Analyst Marc Degryse has raised concerns regarding the relationship between coach Vitor Bruno and sporting director Antoine Sibierski, suggesting they may not be on the same wavelength. Degryse also criticized Bruno’s frequent player rotations, alleging they serve as a mask for a lack of clear sporting vision.

Coach Vitor Bruno has defended his tactical approach, arguing that his selection process is based on daily training performance rather than fixed contracts. CEO Kenneth Bornauw has also addressed the situation, questioning the team's mental strength and the stability of the squad following the international break, while maintaining that the club's leadership remains constructive.
