Liga Portugal: Vitória de Guimarães and Nacional secure key victories

In the ninth round of the Liga Portugal, Vitória de Guimarães secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Marítimo. Goals from Jakupovic (two), Paulo Henrique (own goal), Oumar Camara, and Yeimar Mosquera helped the Minhotos break a five-game winless streak and move up to 11th place in the standings.

Meanwhile, CD Nacional returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory against SC Braga at the Estádio da Madeira. Miguel Baeza scored the decisive goal in the 19th minute, assisted by Song Min-kyu. The win moves Nacional to 15th place with seven points, while SC Braga remains in 9th place following their third consecutive defeat.

Following the loss, SC Braga coach Franclim Carvalho criticized his team's lack of aggression and consistency, stating that the performance did not reflect the club's identity. He noted that despite high possession, the team failed to be incisive in the final third.
