Viture launches Pro 2 entry-level AR glasses
Viture has released the Pro 2, a new pair of entry-level augmented reality (AR) glasses priced at $299. Positioned as a significant upgrade over the previous generation, the Pro 2 is lighter, brighter, and more affordable than its predecessor, which retailed for $449.
The device features a 1080p micro OLED display and utilizes UltraClarity 3.0 technology designed to minimize color fringing and blurry corners. With a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, the glasses compete directly with other budget-friendly options such as the X by Xreal a01+ and the RayNeo Air 4 Pro.
While the hardware offers high sharpness and comfort, some limitations were noted, including a companion app that can be buggy and the requirement of an additional dongle to access all features when used with an iPhone.
