Viture Pro 2 Smart Glasses Launch at $299 with Lighter Design and 1600‑Nit Display
Viture announced the Pro 2 smart glasses as part of its fifth‑anniversary hardware lineup. The new model retails for $299, a $160 price cut from the original Pro, and weighs just 63 grams—about 20 % lighter and 16 % thinner than its predecessor.
The Pro 2 uses Sony micro‑OLED panels delivering up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness, a 1920 × 1080 resolution per eye, 120 Hz refresh rate and a 50‑degree field of view, which Viture markets as a 146‑inch virtual screen. UltraClarity 3.0 optics improve sharpness and reduce eye strain, while built‑in diopter adjustment (0 to –5.0 D) lets many nearsighted users skip prescription inserts.
The glasses lack cameras, a processor or head‑tracking and must be connected via USB‑C to a compatible device such as a smartphone, laptop, or Nintendo Switch 2. An optional Mobile Dock Mini accessory, priced at $99 (or $79 bundled), provides a 10,000 mAh battery and modular connections for multiple devices. The Pro 2 is available immediately from Viture.com and Amazon.
