VITURE launches Pro 2 XR glasses with improved portability and lower price

VITURE has released the VITURE Pro 2, a new model of entertainment-focused XR glasses designed to be more lightweight, thinner, and affordable than its predecessor. Priced at 49,880 yen in Japan, the device aims to compete in the budget-friendly segment of the market.

The Pro 2 weighs approximately 63g to 65.5g, representing a significant reduction in weight compared to high-end models like the VITURE Beast. While it lacks the 3DoF/6DoF spatial tracking found in premium versions, it maintains high display performance with a brightness of 1,600 nits and a resolution of 3840x1080 total pixels. It also retains the brand's signature independent diopter adjustment mechanism, allowing users to adjust focus from 0 to -5.00D without corrective lenses.

To complement the glasses, VITURE is also introducing the VITURE Mobile Dock Mini, a compact power solution for devices like the Nintendo Switch. The dock is 34% smaller and 30% lighter than the previous generation. An experiential event for the new hardware is scheduled to take place in Harajuku, Tokyo.
