Vivo and Lenovo unveil upcoming high‑end smartphones and AI tablets

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has secured TKDN certification in Indonesia for its upcoming X500 Pro Max flagship, model V2610. The device is listed in the global IMEI database and is expected to feature a 6.85‑inch OLED 2K display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP primary camera using LOFIC sensor technology, a 20 MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP ultra‑wide lens, and will likely launch globally after its planned September debut in China.

Tech corporation Lenovo announced its next‑generation Legion Y700 “Wuji” AI tablet, slated for an August release. Marketed as “small tablet, big 5G,” the tablet supports dual‑SIM 5G connectivity via an inserted SIM card and an embedded eSIM, covering the N79 band with a multi‑antenna design. The device retains a distinctive design with a large Legion logo and an RGB‑lit camera ring, and it includes a 50 MP rear camera. It follows the earlier Y700 model that used a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, an 8.8‑inch 165 Hz LCD and a 9000 mAh battery.
