Vivo has announced the upcoming launch of the Vivo V80, scheduled for release in the Indian market on October 6, 2026. The new smartphone features a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
A major highlight is the camera system developed in partnership with Zeiss. For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 50MP front-facing camera.
The Vivo V80 is powered by a large 7200mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging. While official pricing has not been confirmed, leaks suggest the device may launch at a price exceeding 60,000 rupees, with some reports indicating a maximum retail price (MRP) of up to 1,19,999 rupees for certain variants. The phone is expected to run on OriginOS 7, based on Android 17, and will receive six years of security updates.
