Vivo Energy Uganda commissions bulk fuel facilities for Kiira Motors and WIH Cement

Vivo Energy Uganda, the distributor of Shell-branded fuels and lubricants, has commissioned custom-engineered bulk fuel storage and dispensing facilities for two major manufacturing companies in Uganda.

The new installations are located at Kiira Motors Corporation in Jinja and West International Holding (WIH) Cement in the Moroto District. These high-capacity hubs feature automated dispensing and digital fuel management systems designed to monitor volumes, track consumption, and improve inventory control.

According to Vivo Energy Uganda Managing Director Joanita Mukasa Menya, the project aims to reduce logistical friction and support continuous production by providing direct access to fuel at production sites. The initiative is part of the company’s ‘Powering Your Next Move’ proposition, which focuses on providing industrial customers with infrastructure to improve efficiency and control operating costs.
