Vivo S2 slated for early August 2026 launch in India

Multiple leaks indicate that Vivo will introduce its S2 smartphone in India in early August 2026, aiming for a price below ₹50,000. Internal retail listings show two memory configurations – 8 GB RAM + 128 GB and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB – with prices reported around ₹38,000 for the former and ₹42,000 for the latter. The handset is expected in three colour options: Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze and Silk White.

Speculation about the hardware suggests the device may use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a 6.59‑inch 1.5 K OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a triple‑camera setup comprising a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens and an 8 MP ultrawide unit, plus a 32 MP front camera. Reported battery capacity exceeds 7,000 mAh with 80 W wired charging and wireless charging support. The model number V2576 has appeared in India’s Bureau of Indian Standards database, confirming regulatory clearance for an Indian release, though official specifications have not yet been confirmed by Vivo.
