Vivo launches X Fold 6 with world‑first 200 MP camera and 7 000 mAh battery

Vivo began sales of its new foldable flagship, the X Fold 6, on 1 July in China, pricing the 12 GB + 256 GB model at 7 999 CNY and the top‑spec 16 GB + 1 TB version at 10 999 CNY. The device ships with an 8.02‑inch foldable OLED display rated for up to 5 000 nits, a durable hinge claimed to survive 600 000 folds, and IP58/59 water‑ and dust‑resistance.

Key hardware highlights include a world‑first 200‑megapixel primary sensor in a foldable phone, complemented by 50‑MP ultra‑wide and 50‑MP telephoto lenses, and a 7 000 mAh silicon‑carbon battery – the largest ever in a foldable, offering a full day of use. Vivo also introduced an AI‑driven “Atomic Workbench” that supports multi‑window modes, AI file management, and an AI meeting assistant.

The launch featured four colour options, with a limited‑edition Black‑Gold version selling out instantly during pre‑order. Additional perks for early buyers include 24‑month interest‑free financing, screen‑insurance, and extended warranty plans.
