Vivo and OnePlus prepare upcoming smartphone launches

Several upcoming smartphone releases are gaining attention through leaks and regulatory filings. Vivo is preparing to launch the V80 Lite 5G, which is expected to feature a curved AMOLED display and a large 7,050mAh battery. Industry speculation suggests the V80 Lite may be an international version of the Vivo S2, potentially utilizing a Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset and a 50MP primary camera.

Additionally, the Vivo X500 Pro Max has appeared in China’s 3C certification database. This flagship model is expected to support 90W fast charging and include BeiDou satellite communication capabilities. It is rumored to feature a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO OLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 chipset.

OnePlus is also preparing its next flagship, the OnePlus 16. Reports indicate the device will utilize a custom BOE X4 display capable of a 165Hz system-wide refresh rate, with potential increases up to 185Hz during gaming. The handset is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor and feature a 200MP main camera system.
