Vivo to launch S2 smartphone in India in August 2026

Vivo is preparing to bring the next model of its S series, the Vivo S2, to the Indian market in early August 2026. Leaked images released online show the device in black and rose‑gold finishes, featuring a plastic/polycarbonate chassis, a curved display with a central punch‑hole camera, and a horizontally arranged dual‑camera setup with an on‑board fingerprint sensor.

The phone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 processor, paired with 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB. Camera specifications include a 50 MP Sony rear sensor and support for 4K video. Pricing leaks suggest a retail price around ₹38,000–₹43,000, positioning the S2 in the premium mid‑range segment under a ₹30,000 budget marker. In addition to the S2, Vivo has hinted at other upcoming models for India, such as the Vivo T5, Vivo V80, X Fold 6 and more, expanding its lineup across budget to flagship categories.
