Vivo and Lava announce new smartphone launches globally

Several smartphone manufacturers are announcing new hardware releases across international markets.

Vivo has confirmed the launch of the V80 Lite in Malaysia on September 3. The device is notable for its massive 10,000mAh battery, marking a significant capacity for the brand outside of China. The Malaysian variant is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 44W fast charging. Other regional versions of the V80 Lite may feature different hardware, such as the Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset.

Additionally, the Vivo V70 Lite 4G is rolling out in various Eurasian markets. This model prioritizes endurance and durability, featuring an 8,100mAh battery, an IP69 rating for extreme resistance, and a 120Hz AMOLED display.

In India, Lava is set to launch the Virat V1 Pro 5G on August 24 via Flipkart. Leaked specifications suggest the device will include a 6.75-inch 120Hz LCD panel, a Unisoc T8200 processor, 50MP AI dual rear cameras, and up to 8GB of RAM.

In Brazil, the Jovi X300 Ultra (known globally as the vivo X300 Ultra) has been announced. The flagship device focuses on high-end photography, featuring a triple rear camera system including a 200MP main sensor with gimbal OIS and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.
