Vivo X Fold 6 Nears Global Launch with 7000 mAh Battery and 200 MP Camera

Vivo's X Fold 6 foldable smartphone has secured an SDPPI certification for Indonesia, a step that typically precedes a global market introduction. The device already holds a European EEC certification, indicating readiness for broader distribution.

Key specifications include an 8.02‑inch LTPO AMOLED inner display and a 6.53‑inch outer screen, both with 120 Hz adaptive refresh rates and up to 5000 nit peak brightness. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super chipset, paired with 12‑16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The phone houses a massive 7000 mAh battery supporting 80 W wired and 40 W wireless fast charging, and carries IP5X, IPX8 and IPX9 protection ratings.

The camera suite features a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP ultra‑wide lens, all equipped with Zeiss optics. The launch window is expected to mirror the X Fold 5 timeline (July), suggesting a mid‑2024 global rollout, though exact market availability in Turkey, Poland or other regions remains undecided.
