Vladimir Putin pledges national unity for Russian military operations

President Vladimir Putin stated at the United Russia party congress that Russian military personnel participating in the special military operation will not fail and have the full support of the nation. He emphasized that the strength of Russia lies in the unity between the front lines and the home front.

Putin noted that Russian troops are advancing and securing control over various towns, villages, and high ground. He characterized recent Ukrainian attacks as “barbaric” and an expression of the Ukrainian government’s anti-Russian nature, concluding his speech with the assertion, “Victory will be ours.”

Additionally, during a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects, Putin highlighted the need to prepare for the eventual return of soldiers from the combat zone, noting that they will require assistance with employment and reintegration into society.
