Vladimir Putin praises successful development of Russia-Indonesia relations

Russian President Vladimir Putin has characterized the relationship between Moscow and Jakarta as developing “very successfully.” In a message to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Putin offered congratulations on the occasion of Indonesia's Independence Day.

Putin noted that the two nations continue to work together through fruitful contacts. He expressed a commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships both through bilateral cooperation and within international frameworks, including the BRICS group and the Russia–ASEAN dialogue.
