VMRO-DPMNE official accuses SDSM of incompetence in Centar

Sergej Popov, president of the VMRO-DPMNE Centar municipal committee, has accused the SDSM party of incompetence following a political dispute regarding pest control in the Municipality of Centar. Popov claimed that instead of addressing the presence of rodents in the urban center of Skopje, SDSM officials have resorted to personal attacks.

Citing the Law on the City of Skopje, Popov noted that while the municipality is responsible for deratization and disinfection, the city is responsible for disinsection. He further alleged that the current administration has failed to manage basic duties, criticized their urban planning policies regarding construction permits, and raised concerns over municipal financial management and road safety.
