Overview

Leaders of the Domovinski pokret (DP) in Vukovar have accused Mayor Marijan Pavliček and the city administration of mismanagement. DP Vukovar President Dario Tišov alleged that the local administration has maintained a covert political alliance with the SDSS party, facilitating the employment of SDSS-linked individuals in city-owned enterprises despite the DP removing the SDSS from the national government.

Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture David Vlajčić criticized the administration for failing to support legislation regarding the removal of monuments with aggressive markings. The DP has pledged to demand accountability for city council decisions, specifically citing concerns over allegedly unlawful kindergarten fee collections and the need to protect the historical integrity of Vukovar.
