Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám hosts Sắc Tâm 2026 lacquer and agarwood exhibition

The second Sắc Tâm 2026 exhibition opened on October 3 at the Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám heritage site in Hanoi. Organized by the Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám Cultural and Scientific Activity Center in collaboration with Nguyen Art Gallery and Trầm Tuệ, the event commemorates the 950th anniversary of the establishment of Quốc Tử Giám.

The exhibition features contemporary lacquer artworks integrated with the sensory experience of agarwood incense. This combination aims to create a dialogue between modern artistic expression and the historical atmosphere of Vietnam’s first national university. The showcase includes works from 19 different artists, exploring themes of humanity, nature, and time through various styles ranging from abstract to realistic.
