VNeID app hosts public consultation for amended Land Law

The draft of the amended Land Law has been uploaded to the VNeID application, allowing citizens to study the document and provide feedback. The consultation period is scheduled to run until October 7.

Users can access the full text of the draft and review eight key groups of issues identified by authorities for focused feedback. The platform offers three response options: ‘completely agree’, ‘agree with comments’, or ‘disagree’. If users choose to provide comments, they can directly input their specific proposals or petitions.

This digital approach aims to expand public participation in the policy-making process, particularly regarding matters such as land use rights, compensation, land recovery, and land pricing. Some citizens have noted that using VNeID is more convenient than searching through multiple information portals and allows for the submission of practical, real-world scenarios to highlight legal shortcomings.
