Vocational training schools in Chania and Larissa announce 2026–2027 programs

The Schools of Higher Vocational Training (SAEK) in Chania and Larissa have announced their specialized training programs for the 2026–2027 academic year.

In Chania, the school will offer training in Nursing Traumatology Assistant (1st semester) and Surgical Nurse Assistant (3rd semester). Applications for the 1st semester are accepted from September 1 to September 21, 2026. Applicants must hold a high school diploma (GEL or EPAL) or equivalent.

In Larissa, eight new specialties have been announced to meet modern labor market demands. These include Pharmacy Assistant, Physiotherapy Assistant, Aesthetic and Makeup Art Specialist, Mountain Guide, Nail Technician, Hairdressing Technician, Thermal Installations Technician, and Mechatronics Vehicle Technician. Notably, the Mountain Guide specialty gains increased importance following the designation of Mount Olympus as a UNESCO World Heritage site in July 2026. Registration for the Larissa school runs from September 1 to September 11, 2026, via an electronic platform.
