Vogelsberger Akademie welcomes record number of nursing students

The Vogelsberger Akademie für Gesundheitsberufe has welcomed a record 88 new students for the start of the academic year. The cohort is divided into three distinct training tracks: one-year programs in geriatric nursing assistance, one-year programs in nursing assistance, and a three-year program for specialized nursing professionals.

First District Councilor Patrick Krug welcomed the students, noting that the profession is demanding and carries significant responsibility but remains vital due to an aging population. School Director Karen Heipel also addressed the students, encouraging them to trust their abilities as they begin their theoretical and practical training.
