Vogtland Public Transport Tariff Increase Effective August 1, 2026

The Verkehrsverbund Vogtland announced a uniform fare adjustment that will take effect on 1 August 2026. Across the entire network, ticket prices will rise by an average of 8.49 percent.

In addition to the tariff change, the transport authority introduced a chip‑card swap programme (vcm+) allowing passengers to exchange cards until 30 September 2026, and outlined temporary line and station closures during the summer holidays. These operational updates are intended to maintain service reliability while the new pricing structure is implemented.
