Voice actors attend Resident Evil film promotional event

Voice actors participated in a promotional stage event for the new Resident Evil film, directed by Zach Cregger. During the event, Saori Hayami shared her personal history with the franchise, noting that she played Resident Evil 4 as a child but struggled with the controls. She humorously remarked that if she lived in that world, she would want to be a weapon merchant to ensure her own safety.

Fellow voice actors Hiro Shimono and Tomokazu Sugita also attended the event. However, Sumire Uesaka, who is part of the Japanese dubbing cast, was unable to attend due to a high fever. Her absence was announced via her official X account, expressing apologies to fans and staff for the inconvenience.
