Volkswagen and Stuff Bubble unveil inflatable camping modules

Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge and the Allgäu-based company Stuff Bubble have unveiled concept camping modules featuring inflatable furniture at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The concept includes an inflatable kitchen element and a splitable bed stabilized by air-filled components.

Designed to save weight and space, these modules are intended for occasional campers who do not wish to carry heavy, permanent installations year-round. The technology utilizes lightweight textile constructions inspired by paragliding principles.

Currently in the concept stage, the companies are gathering visitor feedback with the goal of delivering production-ready versions by 2027. Future plans include providing similar equipment for the electric ID. Buzz.
