Volkswagen continues to expand its electric commercial offerings with the ID. Buzz Cargo Long Wheelbase (LWB). In the United States, the return of the ID. Buzz electric minibus has been delayed. Originally anticipated for the 2027 model year, the vehicle is now scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2027 as a 2028 model year vehicle. This delay follows lower-than-expected sales, with approximately 6,140 units moved during its initial launch year. The upcoming 2028 model is expected to feature updated software, digital key integration, and a transition to NACS-style charging ports.
