Volkswagen expands ID.3 lineup and sets 2026 launch for ID.4 electric SUV in Brazil
Volkswagen says the ID.3 Pro S version has matured into a more refined electric hatchback. It now uses a 77 kWh battery that promises up to 550 km of real‑world range, delivers smoother acceleration, and adds driver‑assist features such as adaptive cruise control, lane‑keeping assistance and an augmented‑reality HUD. The interior retains a conventional layout while improving infotainment speed and responsiveness.
The German automaker also confirmed that the ID.4, its first fully electric SUV, will enter the Brazilian market in 2026. The Brazilian‑bound model will feature higher power and torque, faster DC fast‑charging, and a modular cabin with a long wheelbase for increased passenger and luggage space. Built on VW’s MEB platform, the ID.4 joins more than 700,000 units sold worldwide since its launch.
